DOG PHOTOGRAPHY

Hello!

Welcome and thank you so much for visiting my website for Dog Photography. My name’s Rebecca and I am without a doubt a crazy dog lady.

From a young age I’ve found comfort in dogs, sharing a bed with a Rottweiler, learning to walk with a German Shepard and growing up with a Border Collie. My dog and inspiration, Maizie, is an 18 year old border collie who is my absolute best friend. Even in her old age, we still go out and capture these unforgettable moments!

Everyone who knows me would consider me part canine and this is what makes me the perfect person to photograph your dogs! I’ve had years of experience with my home boarding business (Maizie & Me), where we look after all sorts of wonderful dogs. Having grown up with big dogs I adore the gentle giants but also have many smaller dogs who stay with me on a regular basis, all sizes really are welcome!

I’m extremely down to earth and love nothing better than rolling around in the mud with dogs. Most weekends you can find me along the river or up in the hills exploring. There’s nothing better than capturing the dogs doing what they love best surrounded by natural beauty.

Frequently Asked Questions

As dog lovers we walk all year round in all weather conditions. However, I do absolutely love the spring/summer bloom as well as the warmth of autumn leaves. I’d personally advice you book your shoot for the season you’d prefer!

Of course! My collie Maizie has had 18 years of me pointing a camera in her face and boy is she fed up of it. Now if she sees my camera she actually barks at me! However, I’ve still found ways around this with a relaxed and fun approach to my photography. The images of her on this page were all taken in the past 2 years!

That’s not a problem at all. The shoot can be hosted in a secure field of your choice. From experience, they tend to cost around £10-15 per hour. If you’re worried about your dog being people aggressive we can arrange a trial session for £20 to see if your dog and I are compatible.

It really depends on the shoot. I’ll always aim to deliver as much as I can and this could be around 10-30 images.

I’m happy to go ahead with the shoot as long as you are – however in extreme conditions the dog won’t enjoy being outside so it’s best to reschedule. I’ll keep in contact with you near the time to keep an eye on the weather. Have a little read of my blog post all about photographing dogs in the rain.

Absolutely not! I have a range of experience with all shapes and sizes of dogs from chihuahua’s to rottweilers and everything in between.

Rebecca is truly the dog whisperer! Having spent so much time with dogs she's amazingly skilled at getting even the most uncooperative dog to pose well for pictures. She has photographed our dog Mocha multiple times and each time she captures Mocha perfectly. She even suggested scenery and lighting that complimented Mocha's colouring on one of our shoots and the shots came out beautifully! She knows how to engage with the dogs to really capture their personalities in a picture and is always coming up with new ideas so you're not just getting the same kind of photo. 100% recommend if you want beautiful, unique pictures of your pets.

I can't recommend Rebecca enough as a dog photographer! She completely exceeded my expectations— the photos of my cockapoo, Freddie, turned out even better than I could have imagined. Rebecca’s ability to capture Freddie's personality was incredible, and the way she worked with him felt so natural. He warmed up to her right away, which made the whole experience so enjoyable for both of us. The final images were full of life, showcasing Freddie's playful and sweet nature. If you're looking for someone who truly understands dogs and can capture their spirit, Rebecca is the one to go to!

I’ve had many photoshoots with Rebecca since my dog was a pup and she’s absolutely fantastic! From him being a few months old and bouncy to being almost 2 and slightly more crazy she always managed to produce amazing photos that capture his crazy personality perfectly. Rebecca connects with the dogs from the minute they meet and you can tell how much she loves them! I couldn’t recommend her enough and will continue to book for years to come!

Rebecca is a dog whisperer! She got some amazing photos of my mum's pup, Shadow, even when she was a mad ball of energy. Rebecca captured Shadow's personality in the photos so well we love the photos!
